WHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF IF I CHOOSE AIRPORT FOR DELIVERY AND RETURN?

Delivery: AIRPORT - Do we come looking for you?

When you land, you will arrive directly to the ground floor at "ARRIVALS".

Head towards the exit and once outside you will see the BUS AND TAXIS AREA, and opposite you will see the public parking and directions to the meeting point. The pick-up area is at the "Meeting point"

There will be waiting for a well-identified van as Motorent Menorca, and a companion with identification shirt with our name and logo, who will bring them to our office just 4.5 km from the airport, where we will formalize the rental contract, deliver the motorcycle and the helmets

If you arrived before the agreed time, please wait for us. And at the agreed time we will be there.

Return: AIRPORT

The last day of rental of your motorcycle the return can be made directly at the airport. In the main parking, We will indicate the exact area and procedure to follow.

WHERE ARE OUR MAIN OFFICE?

Main office: Av. José Anselmo Clavé nº396, Mahón. Near the Karting at the aeroclub Menorca.

HOW TO FIND OUT THE EXACT PRICES?

Fill in the form indicating dates, timetable and the motorbike’s cylinder capacity you request, also the office where you would like to collect/return the motorbike. Then press the button which says require quote and automatically we will send you the above quote and instructions on how to make a reserve should you be interested. 

Then click on the "RESERVE NOW" button and a summary of your choice and available extras will appear. If you are interested click "FINALIZE" where the necessary data will appear to complete the reservation with a payment of 25% of the rent through safe gateway, your debit or credit card will be required. NO AMERICAN EXPRESS, You will receive your confirmed reservation in your mail with all the details. If you notice any error, you should immediately call to Mahon central office for modification. Once in Menorca and when you remove your motorcycle you can pay the rest of the rent and the deposit with debit or credit card or in cash. We DO NOT demand a credit card. REMEMBER for refunds outside the office and / or office hours, the payment of the deposit must be with a card for its later refund..

If you wish, you can take out an all-risk insurance with franchise or without it to cover the damages of the motorcycle. The minimum age to contract this type of insurance is 21 years for 49cc and 125cc, 

The price of all-risk insurance with franchise for 49cc, 125cc is € 5 per rental day.  The amount of the franchise for 49cc and 125cc is € 250. 

For all-risk insurance WITHOUT FRANCHISE the price for 49cc and 125cc is € 10 per day. 

Regardless of the contracting of this insurance, the deposit must always be paid.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

The price includes, two helmets (which are cleaned after each rental), a padlock, VAT and a motorbike box, third-party insurance, motorbike oil for a 49 c.c scooter, and 24 hr assistance.

No extra cost for fuel.

Motorbikes are handed over with full of fuel and must be returned in the same condition. including 300cc scooter and a 500cc and motorbikes with gears which will be handed over with a full tank and returned in the same condition.

HOW CAN I PAY THE RENTAL AND DEPOSIT OF MY MOTORCYCLE?

You can make the payment by debit card, credit or cash. WE DO NOT DEMAND CREDIT CARD !.

(for returns outside the offices and / or outside office hours, the payment of the deposit must be with a card for later return).

HOW DO I RESERVE MY MOTORBIKE?

After calculating the price of your reservation you can make the payment of 25% of the rent and book directly where it will take you to our secure payment gateway, in which you must indicate your card number to make the corresponding payment as an advance to formalize the reserve. Likewise, you will receive an e-mail of preservation if you don't make the reservation and payment at that moment and want to do it later, IMPORTANT; remember that at any time and for availability your pre-booking can be canceled and you must make a new one to formalize and make the payment. Once in Menorca and when the motorbike is delivered, the rest of the rent and the deposit will be paid.

DIRECTLY BY TELEPHONE:

Contact us through our telephone (+34) 971351142 and (+34) 672223682 from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

We will explain the price and, if you agree, we will ask for your card number to make a payment of 25% of the total rental amount (without deposits) as pre-payment to formalize the reservation. Once in Menorca and when the motorcycle is delivered, the rest of the rent and the deposit will be paid.

Reservations are not allowed via bank transfers, sorry for the inconvenience.

WHERE WILL THE MOTORBIKES BE HANDED OVER?

Motorbikes will be handed over and returned in the same place where the reserve was made.

Our main office is situated at the main bus station in Mahón, c/Bisbe Sever, 20, reachable from any part of the island.

We can also meet the client at the airport or surroundings in one of our vans, identified as “Motorent Menorca” at no additional cost, (depending on timetable and availability). We have other branch offices around the island, but there we only have available 125 cc scotter (new and fully equipped).

MOTORBIKE DEPOSIT

It is necessary to pay a rental deposit. This can be paid either by card or in cash. This amount will be refunded after checking over the motorbike’s condition. For 49cc or 125 cc, deposit are  100€.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF A BREAK DOWN?

We have a 24 hr assistance for repairs and if necessary we will substitute for another motorbike.

WHAT DOCUMENTATION DO I NEED TO RENT A MOTORBIKE?

For a Moped 49cc: Drive License class AM or A1 or A2 or A or B. You have to be over 18 years old.

For a Moto or Scooter 125cc: Drive License class A1 or A2 or A or B+3years. You have to be over 21 years old.

FOR HIRE WITH US, DRIVING EXPERIENCE (MOPEDS MOTOS OR SCOOTERS) IS NEEDED.

YOUR SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY!

Very important, for groups of two or more motorcycles it is necessary to contact previously by telephone, NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THE WEB.

No refund of the amount of the reservation or rental will be done under any reason, Motorent Menorca will not enter into any type of negotiation.
